Guest guest
Yes ther eis lots of hope for you! The low iron is preventing you from converting any T4 to T3 and what T3 you DO make is not gettign to the cells due to that high RT3. I woudl take 200mg daily of elemental iron. Most have good results wiht Blue Bonnet Iron Bisglycinate you also need abotu 10,000IU vitamin D and 5000mcg B12 as your levels of ALL those are way too low. I would work on the iron at least a month and get your cortiosl labs done in the meantime BEFORE tryign to switch to T3 onyl. Then oyu would start wiht 30mcg T3 and raise it per symptpm eveyr 3-5 days http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://artisticgrooming.net/ > Question re: RT3. I have no thyroid due to thyca and have been feeling horrible the last few years. I have been on Armour but switching to Naturethyroid. My last labs: TSH 0.01 (0.4-4.5), Free T4 1.1 (0.8-1.8), Free T3 392 (230-420), Reverse T3 41 (11-32) Ferritin 40 (10-232), Vit B12 316 (200-1100), Vit D 31 (30-100). I have been feeling so tired, irritable, don't feel any emotion about anything, want to sleep all the time, terrible memory& concentration, feel like I am walking around in a dream, depersonalization, anxiety. Can all this be from the RT3 issue? I am going to soon be starting on cytomel. Without a thyroid, what dose do I start on? I am currently on 3 grains of Armour. I am also taking iron and Vit B& D. Going to do adrenal saliva testing, also. Will I ever feel back to myself? > > > > > ------------------------------------ > > We are not medical professionals here, just patients sharing our experiences.
