Guest guest
Hi all, Thanks so much for your responses to my plea for advice. My sonohysterogram is tomorrow morning and though I know it's likely they'll want to do more tests, if my OB diagnoses me as BU or SU tomorrow, should I insist on more tests? I have read many of your posts warning that few doctors, even specialists, really know a lot about MA. My OB is very understanding and would refer me to an RE if I asked her to. She and another experienced OB will be performing the SHG, and she routinely runs my case by other OBs and radiologists for their opinions. Did second opinions change your diagnoses? I am just wondering how likely it is that I would need to see another doc, and I will probably find out a lot tomorrow at my appointment. That said, I am also wondering about specialists in the Washington state/Pacific Northwest region. Sorenson at Swedish Medical Center is my peri, and I don't have an RE, but my OB will recommend one to me if I ask. I live in Wenatchee, which is 2.5 hours from Seattle and Spokane, and there are no specialists here. Who would you ladies recommend? My OB is very willing to work in close communication with any specialists and to follow their direction; she actually used to work at Swedish with my peri. So I would need an RE who would be willing to communicate with her regularly, etc. Thanks so much, IC, BU/SU??? We don't know...maybe will tomorrow!
