I would like to thank you all for your kind words with my loss of Don. I'm

sorry that I haven't written sooner but I am still working on my thank you

notes. There were so many people to thank. I have some items that I would like

to find new homes for. They need to be somewhere close. I have gravity

feeding bags and pole. There are two cases. I already took the boost to the

food pantry. I have the w/c van with hand controls. The van has some mileage

left but the lift and hand controls could be put into another van. Any one who

care to take these are quite welcome to come get them.

We have an over the tub shower chair and commode. it has a three piece set up

and also reclines. that cost nearly 3,000. I would hope someone could make an

offer.

I also have don's talker. It is a top of the line vanguard II . It is

unbelievable able what it can do.

Don was working with a speech therapist to learn how to use it. This is a

7,000 machine. I need to get a good price for it because I need to get a car.

I have all the books and assistance numbers. The company is very good about

walking you through and it has a built in manual.

anyone that is also on living with als are welcome to pass this information

along. I am not ready to talk on that site. We had just to many problems and

losses to cope with more. Don suffered terribly for two months before I lost

him and I was there through it all. I think the Drs.. couldn't stand to loose

him. There was always an " if " . (that is truly the largest work in the English

language, everything depends of if)

I don't see a lot of the people that use to post. I'm half afraid to ask about

how they are doing.
