Guest guest
Der ,I know how you feel about me and my iron. I should've taken 200 mg daily a long time ago. Well, I believe things are about to change. I just won't get my iron up as things are now, so, I will do the necessary changes to make my Ferritin increase. I've felt bad long enough now.I just wanted to hear what you have to say about the results after taking an inadequate 100 mg iron daily. I do believe my iron absorption is bad because of possible lack of stomach acid, and also a bit low copper. The latter is proven a bit low, though not below the low range. My GP "forced" me to run an iron test all of a sudden, so I did _not_ stop iron 5 days before this test was made. BUT from previous experience, I saw no difference on my own labs stopping or not stopping iron before the tests were made.I don't believe the iron type/brand I am taking is the best one. The TABLETS are rock solid hard, and with my digestion, they just CAN'T be absorbed anyways. I will order BlueBonnet iron today: BUT which one of the two kinds they have should I buy? The chelated one, right?Ferritin: 36 (30 - 250 m g/L)Iron: 20.5 (9 - 34 m mol/L )Transferrin: 2.6 (2.0 - 5.0 mg/L)Transferrin saturation 32% (15 - 57 %)B12: 361 (160 - 800 pmol/L) (I added this because I think it explains some of my fatigue)As things look now, I am not overdoes on iron. I must just believe that with these labs, iron WILL NOT BE STORED IN MY ORGANS (which would be a bad things) - I just want you to agree with me on that!I've been on iron for almost 1 year now. Obviously, something needs to change so that I can get my Ferritin up. (Add: Beatin/Copper/More Iron)Thanks for your time!Respectfully yours, in Norway
