Guest guest
The NTHA chat group is for group members to discuss anything they like. It differs from the Main NTHA group in that it is not moderated and no subject is considered " off-topic " (NTHA trys to keep posts more on-topic.) I don't know how much the chat group discusses bio-identical hormone replacement. I'm 43 and after going over my labs with Val a month ago she did think my estrogen was low . . . range 43-211. I've had symptoms that havne't resolved with HC or T3 (am in the process of weaning HC after clearing) I also had a hard time differenciating high cortisol symptoms with what I now believe were low estrogen symptoms such as INSOMNIA, depression, bad irritability, hair thinning/loss and some others I can't think of at the moment. > > > > > > > > > > I'm having a hard time dosing the gel - at first it didn't seem like I was taking enough and when I increased I felt wonderful for 1 1/2 days to have the same symptoms return again. > > > > > I now may have taken too much which I know can create the same symptoms it relieves. > > > > > I havnen't started progesterone yet because I was actually progesterone dominant according to Val. Definitely made sense. I had breast tenderness that estrogen relieved right away. I also had my sex drive return ONLY after taking estrogen. I've taken testosterone before and nothing. Recently started it again and still no sex drive for 2 months but add estrogen and wow there it was. But my other symptoms are not resolving and I think its a dosing thing. > > > > > > > > > > Anyone have any experience with Oestrogel? > > > > > > > > > > Also can adding Estrogen prolong the cycle. My cycle usually starts about day 24-26 and I'm a week past. I rarely am late on my cycle. > > > > > > > > > > Any suggestions or help would be appreciated I really feel like estrogen has been a huge missing link probably for a few years and I had no idea. Just want to get this right. > > > > > > > > > > Thanks in Advance > > > > > Sage > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
