Subject: Good News to Share (PG MENT)

Hello Ladies,

I just thought I'd write and share the good news I received today

with

all of my " virtual " friends. On July 26th, I had the AFP Test (The blood

test that checks for neural tube defects of the baby. (Such things as

down

syndrome, and spinal cord abnormalities) Well, when I had the blood

taken,

the doctor told me that they would call me either way, positive or

negative,

with the results. Well, they never called. So, today I called them. One

of

the nurses called me back and apologized for the wait. The doctor that

ordered the test has been on vacation and won't be back until next week.

She

said though that since I had called, they had one of the other doctors

read

the results and all results came back normal!!! :) My DH and I are very

excited that all seems to be fine with the baby. Hearing that the tests

came

back normal really made me happy, I had been trying not to worry about

the

results but it is hard not to think about it. Now, we can relax (About

that

anyway, give me a few minutes, I'm sure I'll think of something else to

worry about :) )

Thanks for letting me share!
