Hey everyone,

I am new to this group- have been on the adrenal site.

I am two days into treating my RT3 issue (10) with Compounded SR T3 (2 mg- SUPER

low, I know). My doc wanted to use this first becuase I am so sensitive to

changes in meds and i seem to need less than others to get the job done. ( I am

on 5 mg HC in am and noon.) My ferritin was 14 a month and a half ago, and I

increased my Iron chelate to 5 pills a day to get that number up. I am on a ton

of supplements, GFCF diet, 1x week B12/vit shots. My questions are these:

1) Am I just wasting my time on such a low dose of T3?

2) At what point should I switch to Cytomel?

3) Do people really stabilize and heal from RT3 issues? I keep reading and can't

seem to find any success stories other than Nick and Val.

4) Are my temps going to be helpful in charting my reaction to T3? (second half

of my cylce my temps are around 98.5-98.7, and first half is 98 typically)

I am feeling overwhelmed by what is ahead of me. It has taken me a year and a

half to get to the level of stability I have (which is miraculous- but far from

how I should feel at 30)I am willing to do everything and anything to get

totally well for me, my husband and my sweet babies. Just am begining to wonder

what roller-coaster I just got on.

Thanks for listening...

Amy
