Guest guest
Hello, everyone, and thank you to Jen, Heidi, Cheryl, Beth, , etc. (sorry if I missed anyone!) for your SU advice and experiences over the last week. I had a follow up ultrasound today (around 7 wks now) and my RE told me I absolutely shouldn't worry about the septum. With him reading the ultrasound, he said what the tech (and I) saw last week is not at all a full septum, as it appeared to be. Instead, he said I do still have just a small remnant (I will ask how much next time) remaining at the fundus, as he planned in the surgery to prevent a uterine window in pregnancy. I guess we got some crazy angle to make it appear so enormous? Anyhow, thankfully, the embryo is implanted safely away from that area, and the placenta, yolk sac and embryo all look just as they should. We even got to see the heartbeat! He said to be optimistic, but he wants me to come back for another u/s in a week to make sure everything still looks right. So, we're cautiously hopeful. What a roller coaster! I am so grateful for this group for lifting me up and calming my fears when I most needed it. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
