Heidi (and others pg w/ unresected SUs),

I hope that you're continuing to feel well! You don't have long

now. I often think about all the women who are expecting on this

board and say prayers for you all!

I have SU, with possible BU dip - had a 3D u/s and MRI, getting the

MRI report back on Friday. Since I lost twins late due to twin-twin

transfusion syndrome in June, I've leaned toward having my SU

resected with hopes of not dealing with more loss (although neither

option guarantees it). In the last few weeks, I've started leaning

back toward ttc again without having the resection. Not entirely

sure why...just had more time to be at peace with the idea that loss

isn't preventable, and I've thought more about not wanting to fix

something that isn't broken (at least so far, since I got to 27 wks

with 1 twin).

All that said, what precautions have the docs taken throughout your

pregnancy? Was there ever reason to give you a cerclage with your

septum, or did they just watch your cervix? I'm wondering how things

would be handled if I don't have a resection and just ttc again.

Thanks,

Laurie
