Guest guest
Basal temp is one measure of how well metabolism is working. Hypothyroid (including hypo from too-high RT3) slows metabolism, this is reflected in a low basal temp. Here are two good links to temp info: Moderator Nicks excellent web page: http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/temperat.htm STTM: http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/temperature/ > > My morning temp is very steady 97.2. Tried to raise it with armour, got up to 8 grains went up to 97.8, then came crashing down to 97.2. I do have high reverse t3. I guess my question is, why does the body get the wrong set point? > > Cortisol was always high, iron overload. >
