Guest guest
Hi Teala I'm going pretty good. I'm 8 days post op and have lost 8 kilo's, so i am pretty happy. I saw the doc last week as my partner was a bit worried due to some excessive swelling but he was happy with it. I see Mr Kierath again on Thursday May 24. He has already told me I still have 3 weeks of fluids to go but my diet is mainly soup, water, chocolate yogo, frozen coke and baby food custard. Very disgusting and non nutritional but we are at a loss as to what else to have. When I see the doc this week, I am going to be asking about going up a bit to things like runny scrambled eggs. My boyfriend is coping wonderfully He's asked me to marry him and we are doing that next month, so something to keep my mind off food hugs jo --- willyjohn@...> wrote: > Dear Jo, > How is it going I have lost 5kgs in 10 > days I am getting rather sick of soup so I try to > find may different kinds I do not feal hungry at > this stage and I go back to my doctor on the 4th > June I had my staples out yester day and I am a bit > tender but I am sure it will go soon you see I have > not had that much time to rest with every thing > going on in my life To day was the first day I have > had alone > How is your boyfriend cooping with it ? I'll be thinking of you on Saturday and will ring thehospital on sunday and see if I can tlk with you andsee how you are going. It's good that your husbandand work colleagues are providing so much support. Ialso have a lot of support from work colleagues andfriends as well as the boyfriend. My family are the main ones who are staying out ofthings and not providing either support or criticism. I suppose that is a good thing as I would rather haveno support and no criticism than some support and alot of criticism which is how my family usually works.Best of luck for saturday and I will talk to yousunday.hugsjo=====If the world didn't suck, we'd all fall off....._____________________________________________________________________________http://store.yahoo.com.au - Yahoo! Guest guest
Hi Teala, Just read your post to Liz. If you have foods that will just " not go down " , and are having a " pain in the throat " when eating.....this is restriction. Your band and fill ARE working, and if you have lost 15kg in such a short time it is obviously working very well!. Have fun in the packing sheds.
