That is great!

The only thing I can't figure out how to clean naturally so that it

will stay clean and the mold will go away is my tub/tub surround. If

anyone has good ideas, let me know.

weekend, and since I have a house full of pets, cleaning up for

visitors is usually a nightmare.

flooring and impossible bird and bunny messes were easier to clean

than with all of the chemicals I have ever tried.

will never again use chlorine bleach or windex in my house! And,

we'll all be healthier for it.

Actually, no. I used 50/50 vinegar and water on my cabinets and walls - and

50/50 peroxide and water on the vinyl floors and carpet. Full strength peroxide

in the bathroom. I didn't mix the vinegar and peroxide, although some say it's

safe to do.

For mold and mildew has anyone tried a paste of baking soda and peroxide? I

would try making a thick paste, applying with an old toothbrush, let it sit, and

then maybe using a Scunci steamer on it? Haven't yet tried it but it sounds

like it could work!

Well, I literally cleaned my entire house using nothing but white vinegar,

3% peroxide and water.

If you try it, let me know if it works. What is a Scunci steamer?

oh, i stopped using ANYTHING with a toothbrush in my shower or anywhere in my

bathroom two octobers ago.

that's how i herniated a disc in my back. the bend i need to do in order to get

the right leverage for the proper application of elbow grease is just too much

for my already-fragile hips.

of course, without the herniation, the subsequent serious weight gain, and then

the desire to lose a significant amt of weight before the surgery, i wouldn't be

here on SBD ;)

prior to that, i discovered any application of peroxide in general doesn't seem

to faze mildew, since it's a fungus and not a bacteria. it's an annoying

problem!
