Guest guest
Alot of my problem is not so much the SBD but my attitude of feeling deprived and all the other emothional physical and hormonal problems going on with me I am just not myself right now hopefully I will find what my body is lacking and be back to my old self The encouragement from this group is not just getting me through diet changes Along with prayer and a good message I heard this week thus group has been my anchor in the storms of life this week. and Pam BROOKSRJ@...> wrote:Hi Debi, I can so relate to where you are coming from. First, I have to cook two meals every evening also. My family doesn't need to lose weight. There are 6 of us. IT IS BEYOND DIFFICULT TO DO. On top of that, I'm very similar to you...the first two weeks, I lost 11 lbs. The next two weeks....1 lb.!!!!! HOW FRUSTRATING! I haven't done it yet but I'm thinking of going off SBD. I exercise vigoursly too. I've added only 2 things in P2. An apple a day (and that's just been the last couple of days) and twice I ate a whole wheat tortilla. Still no difference. So, I feel your pain my friend. My only hope and thought is that there are so many folks on here that have had similar issues and lost and continue to stick with it. As I pray for me, I will pray for you. Pam Re: Stress and crabbiness I could endure eating almost anything if I could just lose weight. Before I started SBD I usually ate pretty healthy but when i wanted sweets I ate them. I never gained weight I just wasn't losing weight either. I've been sticking to the rules on this diet for over a month with just a couple minor mess ups the last couple days and I've only lost 6 pounds. Is it worth it at this point NO...... In a few days if I stick with it and find something I enjoy will I feel better about it probably I think part of it is I never never never use artificial sweetners as a natural health educator it's totally against what I teach. Yet since I've been on SBD I have had quite a few things with artificial sweetner maybe my uncontroled stress is a result of that I don't know.
