Guest guest
Hi kelsey. Where do you live? I have eosinophilic esophagitis and so all five of my sons. I am the only pt my doc has ever seen with it also. I am RELIEVED to find another female with it. BY the way do you have symptoms of chest pain or difficulty swallowing? Ask your doctor to check on the trials of fluticasone given orally (not inhaled) The drug names are FLovent or Flonase. You swallow it in large amounts ( I take 6 puffs three times a day). It has been proven to work in EE He can look up the studies . SJHarlow@... http://www.c4isr.com/harlow

Guest guest
Hi, It's . I have been wondering about my own symptoms lately. I have to take Prilosec everyday or I have to cough, reflux, feel like I have a lump in my thoat as well as when I breath in I feel like someone is sitting on my chest. I know that the Prilosec is doing something because the reflux goes away as well as my coughing. I still have a lump in my thoat though. Did both of you have symptoms of EE from birth or did they come later in life? I am also wondering if since Spencer has such problems with EE,EG and EC that I carry it and now it is coming out and if I have more children will they be affected? Guest guest
Hi! I live by New Orleans, a city full of spicy foods that I can't touch. I didn't know that people in the same family could have EE. Is that rare? I do have chest pain sometimes, and difficulty swallowing, but my worst symptom until I was put on prilosec was throwing up every time I ate. I would eat as much as I could, because the more I ate, the more I could keep down before I had to run to the bathroom. Needless to say, I never ate outside my house or when people were over. I wouldn't eat before school or church either. I have GERD too. I kinda know what that is, but I've been diagnosed with so much these past two weeks and have been sick, so everything is kinda foggy. I haven't been to school at all this week, and my home-school teacher (I'm taught at home for 2 classes cuz I missed so much school in those classes) only came 2 days. How long have you been diagnosed w/this? Thanks, Kelsey ____ " Wisdom is knowing what to do next; virtue is doing it. " Starr Jordan
