Maybe.

I wrote them a letter about it and his nurse called me back. She told me that

he wanted to be on our list.

If anyone has the same problem, please let me know because their office staff

isn't getting the correct information from Dr. B

Colleen,

I can’t imagine the stress of not

being able to get pregnant or the idea of a loss. Do keep me posted on

what the peri tells you. I’m so glad that I found this great group

of women to converse with. I was feeling so alone and watching all my

friends pregnant with no issues. And then of course, everyone asks when

we are planning to have another baby. I just feel so terrible telling them that

I don’t know if it is possible. Now, I’m feeling that a

pregnancy is possible and I’m gaining some confidence about the whole

thing. Do you plan to have the ab/cerc. put in place before or after

getting pregnant? It sounds like in your situation you’d be better

off waiting until after you got pregnant, but hey I don’t know. I’m

still trying to figure out from everyone how difficult it is to get pregnant

with the ab/cerc in place pre-pregnancy. I couldn’t handle losing a

baby mid-way through either and I feel for the women that have lost a

baby. I can’t imagine the pain they are suffering. What state

do you live in? Hope to hear from you soon. Let me know how that appt.

Hi Ida,

I " ve never been able to get pregnant.

Going on three years. We were

going to start fertility treatments last year but

my husband got laid

off from his job and then I had a cyst problem

that has since cleared

and we're raring to get going but alas, now THIS

pesky cervical

problem. I'm going to push really hard to

have an abdominal

cerclage. My greatest fear is losing a baby

mid-way as I'm sure it is

for everyone.

I'm meeting with a perinatologist (2nd opinion) on

Thursday this week

and hope to have all my questions answered. I will

be sure to post

the outcome.
