Guest guest
Hi Mark, I know that when a person is looking for a Mito doc, they usually just ask on the list. And most of the time if they say where they live, it is alot easier to locate a doctor that is fimiluar with Mito. Some people don't care how far they have to travel to find an experienced Mito Doc. Although alot of the Mito docs are either not accepting patients any longer, or aren't accepting Adults, or are ONLY accepting Peds. etc... I believe that the local MDA Chapters have a list of current doctors in the area that are fimiluar with Mito. So I would check out the local MDA Chapter or go to the main MDA and ask who is available. Does anyone know if their local MDA Chapters have a list of MitoDocs that they compiled? Ann-Marie Just a thought Just a thought, to see if this could fly, how about a list of good Dr's that know and treat mitro, that could be posted in the group file or better yet, in the data base, " complete phone book " thoughts? markb ===== Three things are certain: Death, Taxes and Lost Data. Guest guest
The other day in property we were talking about remedies for the poor and the more fortunate. I must say this diet is deffinitly not for the poor. (just my thought) The other day I went to the grocery store and spent 70 dollars! I wanted to be prepared for the week so i got some meat, chicken, fish , veggies etc. etc. Seriously, I live by myself and I have never spent that much on groceries. Its like everything healthy is double the fattning stuff. My mother told me to calm down, its the winter so veggie prices go up but damn. (good thing she is taking me grocery shopping when i go home for break) :-). cause at that much I cant afford the " lifestyle " change :-P. Just a thought, this rambling could be because its exam week and also excuse the spelling cause my brain is jumbled from studying way to much. Ok well that is my little rant for the day :-) Hope all is well
Guest guest
Oh, you're 100% right. We've been spending a crapload on groceries since starting this diet. It's terribly expensive. It's also proven difficult (for us) to find a lot of the ingredients we want. We're having to drive an hour away to find a lot of things. On the plus side, I've stuck to this diet longer than any I've tried. It's been fairly easy for us to stick with. But you've got to be financially ready for it! Take care, Chris what628 what628@...> wrote: The other day in property we were talking about remedies for the poor and the more fortunate. I must say this diet is deffinitly not for the poor. Guest guest
Hi 'what628' First of all, good luck this week on your finals. It is such a stressful time for you. I think it's safe to say that MANY people feel the same way as you about the cost of food when going on the SBD. Please look in our files under The Daily Dish Archives for articles about how to save money at the store. Here is one, http://f1.grp.yahoofs.com/v1/AA-eQ7wlOxJTPVQZN-4LnVf5L9b0XC1r54HHDYELnDBENHOia3Z\ eCJR08jhdPhrYIHUDlH-Rx9eiljq3C1GpXA/The%20Daily%20Dish%20Archives/Six%20Money-Sa\ ving%20Tactics This is a Phase 1 quick shopping list that may help you too. It's from the Phase 1 file. http://f1.grp.yahoofs.com/v1/EB2eQxN1tkSwoBn1z3lk_K8pmiesXG5u8LC-SnLatUi-CY0JQzQ\ sLRoHFfpdgV_Bk8eNQqAlkyo-zCEg_x1ndg/Phase%20One/Quick%20Grocery%20Shopping%20Lis\ t%20for%20Phase%201 If there are foods listed you absolutely won't eat, don't buy them. Also, what many people do when starting Phase 1 is to print out the list of Foods to Enjoy and use it as a shopping guide. You certainly don't have to buy EVERYTHING on the list!! http://f6.grp.yahoofs.com/v1/EB2eQzASZFywoBn1-EPCXGP0TY99h37kj_ch43xy1ksjfQ5SKuT\ UMUNMZdm86f16hrWwjoPOCCzmjbNuzHHTSg/Phase%20One/Phase%201%20Foods%20to%20Enjoy This also came from the Phase 1 file. I hope this will be of some help to you. Good luck on finals. Donna The other day in property we were talking about remedies for the poor and the more fortunate.
