Guest guest
I think it is something like the " starvation " theory. If your body thinks you are starving it from fat, it will store it... If you give your body some fat, it burns it off, knowing it will get more. does that make sense? Cathy fat Sue I believe that the fat we eat is what we use in place of carbs for energy. K. Guest guest
Thanks Sharon. Hey, we share the same day now. I had mine last Tuesday! Even with the malabsorption, my surgeon wants us to stick with a low fat diet.....I guess it helps with the whole " Eating Healthy " and " Making better choices " concept. I hope you have better luck at getting your own fat intake down than I've been having -- that 'un has been a tough run for me here. I'm workin' on it though! Guest guest
Congratulations for such a success in losing, ann! BTW: I dont know how tall you are or how much you weigh or what your frame is like, but for me, at 142 and 5'6 " , I'm thinking, based on the recommendations, 75 grams of protein is plenty. That is POINT five (.5) grams per pound, right? Not 5 grams per pound. I would thini that would be way too high. --Annie > > > > For those who are new, you don't need to be doing any of this. Guest guest
Dr. Wheeler says .7-1 gram per pound of body weight for weight loss so that would be like 101 -145? So what are the numbers you figured for.....is that for maintaining your current weight? anne_wycke horg@...> wrote:Congratulations for such a success in losing, ann!
