Heh.... This she says to THE man of garlic. :) I eat SO much garlic that

I get yelled at by my wife and pretty much my entire family.

Now see...you don't have to put all of that garlic in it when you make it! Of

course, I love tons, but my poor husband has learned to live with it. I was

taught to make hummus by a Bedouin (living in a cave no less - seriously!) and I

don't recall him even putting garlic in it. Of course, they also put a huge

pool of olive oil on top. Sigh. I don't do that anymore either.

hummus

I LOVE the hummus, but one thing you have to keep in mind about the hummus

is.....it's major fresh garlic. Like if you're having an important meeting the

next day....you might want to reconsider eating it the day before! 8-)

But it is good stuff and soooo very satisfying.

Yeah, my DH can't stand it when I make hummus and have

some for lunch. He can still smell it on me when he

gets home after work! LOL. I use the recipe in Mark

Bittman's " How To Cook Everything " cookbook, and it's

just WONDERFUL.
