Guest guest
Veddddddddy EEeennterrrrestink, Helmut! Fascinating to be guinea pigs during this time of research and trial and error. What about exercise? Did you change your habit there? Were your life stresses different? I wonder what that OTHER variable was. What age range are you guys in? Tell me more more more about your blood work! When I changed my diet from horrible whatever to WW, my bone density TEST results IMPROVED for the first time in five years! I realize that without a big sampling that my personal data can only be considered anecdotal, however, if it works for me, I'm happy. I would like to know what you mean, though, Is your cholesterol better? Or what, exactly? If you had to guess why the pounds crept back, two what factors would you attribute the slow climb? Not being as completely (be honest) diligent? Little nibbles? Or, are you just as diligent and methodical, and it 's STILL COMING back?? No, don't tell me that. It would be too too depressing. I don't want to hear that (if it's true, just phrase it euphemistically and let me put two and two together, like the waitress did last night when I asked her if much oil was in the sauce over the steamed vegetables, and she said, " well -- it gets spooned over them, and there IS a little oil put into the sauce at the beginning, and then it gets reduced down, so . . . . " [as i said earlier, they were DRENCHED! but the way she phrased it, it sounded palatable. .. . .it's like, I'm SO SO SO scared of aging, and identity factors related to always having had a rather streamlined image . . . and great health . . . .and now it's like I'm looking at this ugly black wall closing in!) > > Oh, good. . . .more of you are coming out of the woodwork!!! > > Before the last few posts, I was starting to feel I might be a rare bird here. Guest guest
Thank you for explaining! Sounds like you're doing everything SO very right that what you're eating is even a little boring! Heh! Wow. That's discouraging-- and to think you're gaining some back . . . wonder what you'd do if you HAD to lose those 20 pounda again? Like what are we supposed to do? Starve? At least you two are in it together, which is nice....aye, yi yi -- well, at least your blood work is good. And, in my case, at least my bones are good. Heh. But, I haven't given this plan a good go yet, and I'm almost 58, so if I'm successful in losing something here, and getting to 135, then I guess I have a few more good years... sort of.... > > Veddddddddy EEeennterrrrestink, Helmut! > > Fascinating to be guinea pigs during this time of research and trial and error. > > What about exercise?
