Thank you for the compliments. This week I got a call from a

very angry mom whose son got the MMR and Varicella (chicken pox) shots at the

same dr. visit. And this was a kid who was on repeated rounds of antibiotics

for ear infections. ANY IDIOT (not even an M.D.!) would probably conclude

that dumping such a heavy viral overload into a toddler in this condition

would be unwise...Yet, this keeps happening. Outcome? The boy was just dx'd

at 2-1/2 yrs old with autism and he's not speaking.

I concur with 's sentiments above. ly, I am surprised that

so little attention was given to the mercury issue, considering the timing-

on the heels of Congressman Burton's hearing. When/how is the mercury 'thing'

going to break into the national media? The mercury (thimerisol) story is

horrific, but it is also based on loads of FACTS (see Dan Burton's opening

statements re: amounts injected into infants, etc), that you'd think one of

the newsmagazines or TV News shows (60 minutes?) would jump at the chance to

reveal this as a national scandal...

I think that no one in the media is going to touch a serious discussion

of the biomedical interventions until they can back up such a story with a

reasonable number of 'recovered kids.' Aside from Karyn Seroussi, who has

courageously " gone public " about her own son, I'm not sure how many parents,

should they be blessed with such an outcome, would feel comfortable revealing

their child's history to the public.

Anyway, I too am disappointed by this article and frustrated that it

contains too much " same old, same old, " particularly for parents of the

newly-diagnosed.
