Guest guest
Dear Jody: Before I can share a recipe, do I need to send it to you to clear? Please let me know. I have some good recipes I wanted to share. Thank you, Eileen
Guest guest
Donna- Why does that matter? If someone posts it, I figure it is there for all of us to see and use. Sharing recipes Hey folks; It's wonderful that many of you share recipes with the group. I like to add them to our recipe files so people can go back at a later time and find their favorites. It would save both you and me a lot of time if you would add something to your message, giving me permission to post your recipe to our files. Your recipe does not have to be an original to be listed. In fact, if you know where you got the recipe, include that info too. A few days ago, Jen in ND added to the end of her recipe message, " yes, mods, you can put this into the files " . Or something to that effect. Just let me know I can file it, please! Thanks a bunch! Guest guest
Hi ; I understand where you're coming from and it does make sense. However, I think it is more of a courtesy to ask for permission to put a recipe into the files. I see our files as more permanent than a single message posted to the boards. This is also the policy of the group. There are many folks who post a recipe and don't want me to put it into our files. They don't say 'why' and I don't ask. I respect their decision and would never do it behind their backs. Thanks for asking though. Donna > > Donna- > Why does that matter? Guest guest
Still seems odd to me since anyone could just read past posts and find the recipe that way.
