Your weight can fluctuate 5 pounds in one day....so before you let that number

get you down...wait a day or two and you will most probably see it change.

Subject: feeling down, weight is up

I have been doing SBD for 6 weeks now. I started at 201 and after the first

week, I lost 6 pounds, the second week I lost 5.5 pounds. I entered phase 2 very

very cautiously because I didn't want to overdue anything and so I added back

other foods slowly (only one new thing per day - and only every other day). I

stuck at 189.5 for four solid weeks but when I got on the scale today, I was

back up to 192!!!! I have not changed anything or added anything new and I know

it's not my 'tom'. It's very frustrating. I was feeling down today and ended up

going to the CVS next to where I work and I purchased a small 99 cent bag of

baked Lays and ate half the bag. I felt no better after doing that, but it did

feel good to bite into something crunchy. I have lost my appetite and will not

be eating tonight. Back on the wagon tomorrow, but I'm not as excited about this

lifestyle change as I was 6 weeks ago. I can handle not losing weight for a

period, but I can NOT handle gaining weight.

Sigh!
