Sometimes those pounds don't melt away as fast as we'd like and it can be discouraging. I did a reward for staying on the Beach for the phase I (a manicure) and having just completed a month on phase II, I got a new haircut AND a new pair of jeans (size 10, they were loose. Quite a ways from my 24s!). I plan to buy something new for my birthday in December assuming I'm still on a downward trend. It's okay to reward for poundage but put some time rewards in there too - i.e. if you make it through the halloween party without indulging on Babe Ruth's, get yourself the manicure then too!
