Guest guest
Debi, Six pounds is very good! And you will keep losing. So, keep up the good work. ann > > Well I weighed this morning this is day 15 I stuck with the phase 1 for 14 days and I only lost 6 pounds. I was a bit discouraged but I'm know I have a harder time than some to lose weight so I am going to keep trying. Couldn't have made the 14 days without all the support thanks. > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
>>My weight loss has been extremely slow but it has worked for me. It's easy to get hung up on time but if you put it in the perspective of life, as long as you lose or maintain you are having a good week and doing a great job! << Very healthy thinking, . And the wonderful thing about this WOE (NOT diet!) is that I'm not wandering around thinking, " okay, when I'm done eating this way I can eat cheesecake, and Snickers bars, and... " I don't ever plan to be done. And I don't crave junk food the way I have all my life. Plus if I'm absolutely dying for something, I'll have a little taste and go on with life. Another thing about Phase 1 weight loss. If you're coming off another diet, you no longer have the big water loss other people will have. I read somewhere that carbohydrates bind to water, and when you stop eating carbs you'll lose more water. If you've already had an initial water weight loss from another diet, you'll get less of that. Laurie in Seattle " I read recipes like I read science fiction. I get to the end and think 'well, that's not going to happen.' " -- Rita Rudner
