I use plain ol' Hunts Tomato Sauce. It does not taste sweet and does not list

sugar in the

ingredients. Then I add whatever I want to it - oregano, basil, garlic etc.

Adding some grated Parmesan cheese might help with that. Keep adding

til it tastes right.

PS, Adding a can of tomato paste might also help cut the sweetness, as

well as thickening the sauce.

Adding a can of tomato paste? Someone else on here said that tomato paste would

make it sweeter.....

The sauce I tried before had tomato paste in it - and it was way too sweet.

Since tomato paste is concentrated, I would have thought that would have made it

sweeter.

???
