Guest guest
Here is the recipe for Whole Wheat Bread... 1 1/2 cups room-temp water 2 1/2 Tbs. EVOO 2 Tbs. sweetener (I think the loaf is sweet enough without it) 3 to 3 1/2 cups whole wheat flour 2 Tbs. gluten flour 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped (I use chips) 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 tsp. quick-rise yeast In large mixing bowl (you can use an electric mixer, but I don't have a dough hook, so I do it by hand), combine all ingredients to form a rough dough. Let the dough stand for 15-20 minutes. Place on lightly floured board and knead about 10 minutes, until the dough is smooth and elastic. Place in oiled bowl, turn once, cover with damp cloth. Let rise in a warm place (I turn my oven on for 1 minute, then turn it off and put the dough in there) for about 1 hour, until doubled in size. Preheat the oven to 350. Turn the dough onto a floured board and shape into an oblong loaf. Coat an 8 1/2 " by 4 1/2 " loaf pan with spray. Place dough in the pan. Bake for 40-45 minutes. Remove from oven and turn out onto a cooling rack. Jen in ND Mods: yup, oh yah, sure, you betcha! --------------------------------- Yahoo! FareChase - Search multiple travel sites in one click.
