It's what Pam said. Hunger is physical hunger, where your body is

lacking food because you haven't eaten in at least four hours. A

craving is when you are not even physically hungry, but you are dying

for cake or a bag of chips or some treat. If you ate a meal within

the last one-three hours, you aren't physically in need of food. If

you are not yet hungry enough to sit down and eat chicken and string

beans, but you are dying for ice cream, you are having a craving. Of

course, will power plays into it, but eating the SBD way cuts out

physical cravings caused by low blood sugar. It may not cut out

emotional cravings for food, but that is where self control comes in.
