Guest guest
Thanks Tracie, I'm just thinking that going on another med to help me get off meds, sounds kind of silly. I'm thinking I should just whether the storm. I've never heard of the Gerson Therapy diet, is it a book, I will look for it. The welbutrin just kept me awake, so then I felt even worse then before. I stopped the welbutrin about 3 days ago, hadn't been on it that long, but last night was the first night I slept all night. wow that felt good. Thanks Tracie, I hope you are feeling better. I am praying for relief for all of us. hugs and blessings, Marla In a message dated 3/1/06 9:30:50 AM Pacific Standard Time, mebramer@... writes: having some strange things going on and wondered if anyone of you have had this too. I decided to go to my PCP, and he said it's either hormones, or going off the effoxor, so he put me on welburtrin, even though I'm trying to get off meds. Only now I continue to have all the other symptoms, and insomnia, which makes the other symptoms worse during the day, he told me I could increase my Lorazapam to help sleep, but that doesn't help at night, and I feel more drugged in the am. I want to go off the meds, not add more meds to help me go off the old ones. Marla, I still suspect that it has to do with the discontinuance of the Effexor. Whenever we change something to do with our brain chemistry, it messes with the Seratonin, Epinephrine cycles, which have balanced out with the meds we were on--then we dc them, and we end up back at square one. I just wrote a note to Kim-- I'm using the GERSON THERAPY DIET to try to change my program--and yeah, hopefully to be able to dc some of my meds. Pick up a copy and check it for yourself. Remember too that if your Seratonin levels aren't where they need to be, that that alone will mess up your hormones--so the diarrhea, hot flashes etc can all stem from the single change--and you've made multiple ones--so it's hard to say which one has caused this problem. Guest guest
Marla, I agree . When I have tried to go off some of my medications because the doctor told me it was making me so tired all the time, I had all kinds of complications and reactions. Even if I slowly tried to wean off one at a time.It just proves that I need to be on them. I am sorry you are having such a rough time right now. I hope things straighten out for you real soon. Guest guest
I think I recall reading that they are the only bean that's not phase 1 friendly, but I don't know why. Maybe their glycemic content is higher. Check the foods to enjoy list to be sure. ann - In South-Beach-Diet-Getting-It-Right , Trish Lobato wrote: > > Are pinto beans P1 friendly? > > Not that I care for them, but just wondering. > > > --------------------------------- > Yahoo! Guest guest
Hi Terri G, I've not actually heard of tendonitis of the clavicle before but anytime there is a bone, there has to be something that holds it in place so that it works properly, so I would not rule it out, especially if your joints are all inflamed.. Has he checked you for rheumatoid arthritis? With all of your joints in a mess, I would think he would make sure that's not what you have.. Just my two cents worth.. Hugz, t -- question Hello out there in lala land. I have a questoin for the medical folksout there. Have you ever heard of tendonitis of the clavicle? I wnetto the doc today about the swelling on my chest today and he told methat he thought it was was tendonitis of the clavicle. I am so inflamedin my joints right now; I just had my wrist injected in two places andmy ankle and knees are bothering me. Does this seem significant toanyone but me? I guess I just need some validation right now that I amnot nuts. Thanks for being my friends and I am praying for all of you. By theway, from Norfolk where are you and how are you?
