I've had some of my kids sleep through at an early age, and some that took a lot longer. When they were still nursing, I always found it easier to bring my pillow and blanket (and baby!) out to the couch to sleep. I would not quite be in fully reclined position, my head and shoulders would be up a little bit against the pillow on the armrest, the baby would be cradled in my arms to nurse toward the inside of the couch, and I could push my leg on the opposite armrest. If the baby awoke for another nursing, I would just take my pillow and put in on the opposite armrest so I could nurse on the opposite side. I never had a problem getting sleep this way. Then again, I pretty much could sleep through anything. It's my dh that shakes me awake when the baby wakes up lol. Joan
Guest guest
You're the first person that I've ever know to have the same disorder. Did you have any testing done to find out what you had? Have you had it for long? I wake up to any noise, I still don't sleep well. My hubby on the other hand could sleep through a plane crashing in our room!
