Sometimes I make a black olive pesto with olives and walnuts In summer for a barbecue I will make a Pesto Cold Noodle salad,where I tossed cooked noodles and some broccoli together and chill, and separately chill pesto. When I am ready to serve guests, toss noodle mixture tith the pesto and sometimes if I have in house, garnish with pine nuts.. fresh tomatoes, mozzarella cheese and toss with some pesto.. When making a bean soup., especially a white bean soup, just before serving add some pesto Make a spinach pesto , and stuff filet of sole or thin fish, roll and bake.
