Guest guest
Lori, I went through the fresh fruit phase too, LOL! What was so funny is that one day I could eat fresh pineapple and then the next day, clear out of the blue, it made me dump. Thankfully now that I'm further out in my pregnancy I can eat it again. My current craving is any Asian food, and man do I miss sushi! I think about spicy tuna rolls everyday, but since they are raw I stay away. I tell ya though I'm going out for sushi as soon as I can after the birth, 9 months without sushi for me is way too long! LOL! Axelrod cravings Just curious as to what everyone is craving these days, lol. Someone mentioned a Big Mac in an earlier post...I had to have one yesterday myself! Actually what I did was order a cheeseburger with all the big mac toppings on it. Man it was good!!! My other craving is fruit. I am now on my second batch of fresh fruit, all different kinds cut up in a huge bowl. I just cant get enough for some reason. Weird! Lori D. Guest guest
, Well.....I craved fruit in the first trimester, still want it, just not that intense " need it now " feeling, and I'm having a girl. Axelrod Re: cravings I am also craving fruit!! I can not get enough grapes!! I read somewhere that it is an old wifes tale that if you crave fruit that you are having a girl. Do any of you who are craving fruit having a girl? Just wondering. I am also craving (dont laugh) pickles. I thing it is just the sour taste I want. Now that you mention it, a Big Mac does sound really good right now!!
Guest guest
I have been craving fruit also. I don't like banannas, but I want them all the time. Also, I can't get enough of light and fruity pie. it is sugar free jello and cool whip in a pie shell. Yummy! Also chicken, great now I am hungry! LOL God bless, Bunny

Guest guest
Hi , I used to live in Ohio too. I lived in Toledo for 4 years while my husband went to medical school there. We love Ohio! We now live in Idaho. Big change but it is wonderful here too. As for Cravings I actually am just getting started. I saw a picture of enchiladas today and had to have one for lunch. I am only 5 months post op so I only could eat 1/3 of it. It was good. It seems the only other thing I am liking right now is saltine crackers with cream cheese on them. Guest guest
My dads family is in Toledo and surrounding area (whitehouse, maumee). My great grandparents used to live at 645 Cherry Street in Findlay. My great grandfather used to own " Lees barber shop " on Main street YEARS ago. I think he died when I was about 3, so that would be, oh, 30 years ago. My dad said his shop was right across from the fire station. I guess it is a small world, huh? Guest guest
I'm really craving fruit also!! What's up with that?! I see lots of us are craving it!! Thank God I live here in sunny Texas where most fruit tastes good all year. I go every few days to the store to stock up on apples, grapefruit, cantelope, strawberries, grapes.... I had a girl my first time around and I didn't crave fruit - though I craved tomoato sauces like spagetti and lasagne. Aali > I am also craving fruit!! I can not get enough grapes!! Guest guest
One thing I had to learn about cravings was the fact that the " cravings " have gone away.....the " want " to eat a particular thing from time to time, does not. The simple fact for me is, I LOVE FOOD. I'm finding out that I can love food that is better for me. For me, that doesn't mean (after I meet my goal) that I won't have a real piece of cheese cake on a rare occasion. It's like so many have said and I say to myself, " what is it I really want? " It's a choice! I'm still around restaurants and go to events that have things that I almost couldn't resist in the past, but I've worked to hard in the past 5 weeks, to turn back now. 8-) Pam
