Re: blind for 'bean cakes'

Thank you, Donna.

I was looking on the SBD file pages for the recipe section and didn't find it.

I guess I'm

blind or something, but I didn't see 'recipes' listed among the various files

there. (Feeling

rather dumb right now.) I had planned to look in the recipes section there, and

figured

that the chocolate bean cake would be there. Since I didn't find the recipes, I

still would

love it if I could find that bean cake recipe. Are they there and I'm blind

(Typical me! --

Ole Ditzo Fritzo) or do you need to send us the recipes when we request them?

Also,

someone on the board said she had a Vanilla Bean Cake recipe similar to the

chocolate one

and that she would post it if anyone wanted it. I love Vanilla, and thought

that as long as I

was going to look at the chocolate recipe, I'd like to check out the vanilla

one, too, and

then I'd have a choice of which one to make. Just the sound of a chewy sweet

cake was

making my salivary glands work overtime. Sounded SO good. Sometimes I don't

ever

make the recipes. I read them and imagine them and enjoy them that way. Sounds

crazy,

huh? Oh, well. I probably shouldn't eat something like this, anyway, so if I

can't find the

recipes, it's probaby okay, anyway. But I'd still like to know where the file

is so I can flip

through it and see if there are other good things in there that aren't so sweet.

Thanks for

your very kind and thoughtful answer to the request. -- Blind Alley Annie

However, I will only do that if I have permission from the person who posted the

recipe.

Some folks write an " Ok to post to files " when they send the recipe to the

group. Others,

I'll write and ask for permission and never hear from them. I won't file

recipes without

permission.

find recipes though I know they're there, somwhere. Sorry to take up board

space with

this request. Also, someone suggested a vanilla bean cake. Sounds good to me!

Would

love to see it if you post it. Thanks. Annie
