Guest guest
- My Mom has the same problem....I called to ask her what her condition was. She said the doctor never gave a diagnosis. Unfortunately, your experience with doctors is not uncommon ((( > > Hi Judy, > > It's not really a " choking " feeling. I mean, the food goes down my throat, but just seems to hang up around my chest area. I can still breathe and all, but there's just this really heavy feeling in the area until it goes down. I don't know how else to explain it. > > I considered going to a DR about it, but in my experience, doctors don't do a darn thing for me, so I avoid them at all costs!!! > > I guess it has me wondering. A couple of people said it's just because I'm taking too large bites and not chewing enough. Well, had it ALWAYS happened I guess I would understand more. But since this is a fairly recent thing it has me wondering. My eating/chewing habits haven't changed. So that leads me to believe that something within me has changed, which is causing the food to get stuck when it didn't used to.
