Guest guest
I have always been told that skin testing is not accurate for kids under three. But my GI docs say they think it is not accurate after three. As far as allergies in our family my husband has very mild inhalant allergies a few months of the year. None of this is in either side of the family. And as stated Bryce has no outward reaction to any of the foods he tested. He scored a 4+ on both skin tests for eggs. He has had eggs and never did anything ever happen. We don't give him eggs now and we even have epi pens on hand but that is over kill. I guess better safe than sorry. That is why this EE thing has been so frustrating because no reaction no sign no screaming out it pain nothing but poor weight gain was our only clue. Are and her kids and my son Bryce the only ones that have Eosinophilic esophagitis on this list??? Just wondering. Hey Sharon this is where the bio would come in handy!! :> Amy (mom to 7yr old girl, 3 year old son, eosinophilic esophagitis, nissen, gtube, food allergies) drawe@... ---------- > From: SJHarlow@... > > On the whole food allergy issue... > > are we the only ones whose kids have no immediate untoward reactions to > foods?
