Well everyone,

It looks like Spencer has gotten his first site infection. Either Yeast or

Staph. Not sure. Low grade fever.

I have a question......can it get into his track? He has one open wound

from his other line that is right next to the new one. That is really where

my concern is. He is itching it like mad.

For those on the Eos's list it is around his CVL line.

Well, we were already and packed to get transferred to Cinci this morning

and now this morning the doc's come running in saying that all of the

cultures have come back positive.

So, we are going to get transferred, but it is going to be more difficult on

either end here so we won't leave until tomorrow first thing.

We'll keep praying. How about the Mc house? Do they have a room for

you?

Cathy,

You just caught me online for a second. Unfortunately they don't at this

time. BUT the town place suites of Marriott (has full kitchen) is putting

us up for 14 days for free. One person who contributes to Spencer's

enormous amount of medical costs pleaded with them and they willingly

accepted the plea. It will save us about $1000.00 in housing for that time.

Thank you for your prayers.

Love,

Thanks for the update on Spencer. I actually tried calling you at the

hospital a few weeks ago and he was down for tests. After that, I kept

hoping to hear something online. You all have been through so much!!!

Hang in there and bless little Spencer's heart!!! As far as I'm

concerned no child anywhere deserves any illness of any type, and it's

the hardest thing in the world to see :( I hope those ulcer's go away

and I hope he isn't in pain.
