well....all i know is that if it wasn't for pork rinds, almost the only

crunchy thing on atkins, i would've bailed by now!

I did a wonderful wedding last night, and actually had a bunch of things i

could eat ! Bacon wrapped scallops, filet mignon, and these totally cool

pizzas we make with dilled havarti and pepperoni...mmmmmm. of course, i had

to have the requisit conversation with someone (who caught me eating the top

off a pizza) about " oh, that diet is SOOOO unhealthy " ....and of course, it

turns out that the person knew nothing about it AND nothing about the

realities of low fat dieting either...(he ate lots of vegetables off the

buffet and two pieces of cake.....:-)

THANKS PENNY!!!!!!!!! And I was about to buy some. I think I still

will; I ate them as a kid & I liked them. Better than chitterlings,

it sounds.

I never ate them until this WOE, now I get those hot ones and dip them in a

sour cream based dip and they are delicious!

If you can get by the smell and the thought of eating fried pork skin,

they aren't bad. I like them dipped in sour cream and onion dip. Or, filled

with cream cheese. Crushed as a breading dip for chicken.

The best way is to eat them at the movies with a big diet coke. I sit

and munch on a little bag full. For some reason, this satisfies me

immensely. I used to have pretzels and cheese, rarely popcorn.

Hi :

I tried the pork rinds last night and I just CAN'T do it.. maybe eventually I

will but not today... I found that celery with cream cheese hit the nail on

the head.. what a great treat!

Yes, those without any added spices are lehgal but they are quite salty so dom't

overdo.

You can also vrush pork rinds and use them to " bread " things.

Thanks!
