Hello

I was just wondering if anyone out there with EG has ever had severe

abdominal pain under the left rib cage which went to the back and if

so if they know where it is coming from. I have been on so many

medications lately and was coming off of prednisone that the my Dr is

convinced that it is my large intestines. I am now back on

prednisone while the Dr tries to figure this out. I am currently

taking vicodin for pain. I thought I was doing great until last

Thursday evening when I woke up with this severe pain. I have had

high eosinophils since 1992 and they Drs are not sure if I have EG or

hypereosinophilic syndrome. I have been extremely nauseated lately

and would like to hear if others have this same problem and what they

use. My pain is general high in the stomach region but lately has

moved down to the lower pelvic region. I have had 3 colonoscope and

4 endoscope. My gut always looks good until the biopsy comes back

with eosinophils infiltrating. I have these in my colon and

duodenum. They have tried to force the scope futher to find more

areas and have not been able to. My pain lately seems to be coming

on stronger and lasts longer. I used to work full time and now I

have been lucky enough to work from my home telecommuting part time.

The doctors at the Univesity of Washington tell me that it must be

the large intestine having a flare up. Your suggestions will be

appreciated.

Thank You,

Patience
