Guest guest
I have done a few rounds of DMSA per the Cutler protocol and I haven't noticed a lot of effects. I am using 25 mg of DMSA. The only thing I notice (besides being tired from the four hour schedule) is that my eyes appear a bit yellower and the bags beneath them are puffier. Also, my skin has broken out something horrible. This suggests some type of detox, no? Any suggestions would be welcome.

I HAVE BEEN TAKING 1500 MG OF C 4X A DAY AND MILK THISTLE 2X A DAY, SO I WILL INCREASE THE MILK THISTLE. IS THERE A LIMIT (KNOWN HARMFUL) ON THE AMOUNT OF MILK THISTLE? 3. Do you have any reason to suspect a problem with arsenic? That causes skin problems sometimes. I HAVE NO REASON TO SUSPECT ARSENIC, BUT I HAVE NO REASON NOT TO, LOL. PERHAPS I SHOULD CHECK INTO THAT. I cant believe I saw that you have the exact same problem as I do. My pointer finger is just a wreck!! I have also had some of the red bumps on the underside of my for arms but I use tea tree oil and both have cleared up. My pointer though needs more attention, because it's soo dry and cracked and peeling and rough. I also use alot of vaseline and it helps. I'm not sure what skin tagging is though. Guest guest
wondering how many of you out there have had facial skin problems from the hypo. supposedly the skin disorder can be one of the very early indicators of endocrine disease - and it was mine. I worry about my damaged facial skin sometimes but there's not much i can do. interesting enough, in this last year I have had small areas on my face sorta puff up...and thickened/callus like skin has just peeled off...and there has actually been a jelly like substance underneath. it heals up nicely..but it's very weird. just wondering if anyone else has skin disorder...of any type from the hypo? cindi

Guest guest
Hi Cindi, I don't have the symptoms you talk about on my face, but I have rosy cheeks.. not sure if it's related to thyroid, but I think it is, as I don't always have them as rosy as other times. Robin rosy cheeks. Guest guest
Hmm, aside from acne, I get very dry and peeling cuticles and int he winter, I'll occasionlly get tiny blisters, usually on the sides of my knuckles that peel and become dry patches. This is a hypoT thing? My doc is testing my hormones, I think she may suspect PCOS? Cheers, Friday > My skin on my hands will bubble up and peel sometimes. I was assuming this might be a detoxification type of reaction - and with skin being a large organe of detoxification -and one organ of mine that was always a bit sensitive - this might be the reaction I'm getting from detox. I hope that is what is going on - but if anyone else can shed some light on this I would love to know. Winona
