Guest guest
Can nayone tell me HOW the atkins Protien Powder tastes? Is it grainy at all, is it blan? Are there better Protien Powders out there with the same low carb high protien combination? What flavors are best when trying these? I am about to invest but then saw the price on these. I would rather have some input first before buying them. Thanks tons, lee
Guest guest
I buy Atkins Chocolate and vanilla shakes, They are good when made right, do not follow the instructions on the label! The bake mix has an awful flavor in my opinion! I dr. mine up, I don't like it plain. It is not grainy at all and I would not really call it bland. But it is better with a little cream and some splenda! Guest guest
Penny -- OK, I'll bite. If I'm not supposed to follow the instructions on the Atkins Shake can (yikes, no kidding about the Bake mix), how AM I supposed to make this stuff? It tastes OK to me when prepared with one serving of Optimum Say Protein (chocolate all the way -- that's just the kind of girl I am). Do you have better methodology? I'm always willing to learn and improve. Guest guest
Gail, I Have several different ways to make them, my 2 favorites are 1. 1/3 cups of heavy cream, 2/3 cup water, sweetner,6 ice cubes, Approx. in a blender with 2 scoops of mix. 2. 12 oz Diet Root Beer 2 scoops of shake mix, ice cubes in a blender. there you have it. the way Atkins explains it you don't use a blender and ice, or even sweetner I don't think. It was gross!!
