Guest guest Posted February 18, 1999 Report Share Posted February 18, 1999 Pat, Thanks....Yes I had happened to catch something on the news about that the day before the doctor wanted to try a nicotine patch. But what I heard is they thought a nicotine patch would help Alzheimer's patients remember better. Does anyone know if CJD patients experience pain? We had our mom home for 8 days with the help of hospice before she died. She had a brain biopsy and once in a while would try to life her arm to her head. Her face looked as if she was in some pain....She was taking morphine to make her comfortable. What a HORRIBLE HORRIBLE disease....
