When Schoenberger called me, he said we could be taken seriously if we had an

MD or PhD publish for us. Maybe with Tom's info and our persistence some

positive progress can be made with the CDC.

I am not sure if Tom reads our posts, but if he does, I would like to request

that he send a copy of his post to the BSE list to Schonberger by snail mail

at the CDC.

We can complain among ourselves all we want about the CDC, but until we get in

their faces with hard, cold scientific data, Schonberger and his henchmen

aren't going to think we have the guts to do something about the CDC's

ignorance and omissions.

If Tom doesn't have time to send the email with references to Schonberger, I

will be glad to if I have his permission to do so.

It amazes and saddens me that we have seen CJD first hand and dealt with every

symptom every day from the first day our loved one became ill to the day that

they died and the CDC doesn't give us credibility??? They want someone with

initials behind their name to validate our experiences?? Give me a break!
