Guest guest
Hello. I never had AJ or Remi for that matter, immunized for chicken pox. I wanted them to get it naturally and have natural immunity. Now I am thinking, maybe I should get AJ the shot. AJ is back on predisone. It was prescribed for asthma. She was in the ER the other night with a horrible attack. She has been on predisone more than off since september. I hate it, but it is nice to see her eat and be more comfortable when she does. Yisroel sounds EXACTLY like AJ before she was first scoped and subsequently put on Neocate. Sleeping more than awake, just sat there doing nothing, everything that went in, came out.....She wasn't pale. She was grey. I hope you can get him scoped so you can be on your way to be getting some answers or better direction and you can stop nursing too. AJ is going to the GI thursday. She hasn't been scoped for over a year and never by this doc. I wonder if he will want to do one soon. AJ got her hearing aids friday. They went in and I havne't heard about them since. She adapted so easily, it has been great. I guess she is too busy fighting me about the nebulizer these days. Have a good weekend everyone. Guest guest
Shana, Two of my kids got the chicken pox while on high dose steroids. The doctors completely freaked out... lots of things CAN go wrong. None of them DID. My kids came through it just fine. Steph [eosinophilic gastroenteritis] chicken pox >For those of you on steroids has any of your kids ever got chicken pox when they were on it . I read it could be very dangerous. Will it be much worse now . By her having this disease EG will that complicate things or will she be like any normal child that gets it. Miriam started breaking out today. and I am very nervous. > I am hoping to get my son scoped in the next week. I am so nervous with him he is getting os skinny and his stomache is so bloated is that normal. He is very pale. when ever he eats lately he either throws it up or has diareah . HIs teacher in nursery school says he seems so weak b/c he just wants to sit and watch the other kids play. He also sleeps so much is that normal ( 11-12 hrs at night an d a 3-5 hour nap during the day and goes to sleep normal time ) Am I nervous about him for no reason. Iam waiting tomaorrow to hear when he will be scoped should I ask for anything else to be done with him or is the scope enough. >Shana (mom to Miriam 3 1/2 EG, Yisroel 2 . asthma FTT, something else maybe EG Tehilla 7 ADHD) > __________________________________________________
Guest guest
BJ got chicken pox at 1. They gave him the meds to make it better but in my opinion, they were just as bad as Dakota's, maybe a little worse. The docs put him on a special medication. I don't remember the name but I believe that it is a herpes medication. He did fine.
