that diagnosis was bandied about often while my husband was at Mayo (for 2

1/2 months) but the nature of CJD, or it was for us, there were periods of

time he didn't sleep or seem to need much sleep...several months worth of

sleeping maybe 2 hours here and there throughout the day and night....along

with the paranoia and hallucinations this is not a fond memory...
