Guest guest
I am printing this and will bring it to a Rabbi of a temple not far from me and will (now that I'm writing and thinking) will bring this to the Jewish Home for the Aged klhere in Reseda... I haven't ever eaten " tongue " due to the name as a child and haven't eaten meat for years and years, but I do believe it is called tongue but is not the tongue of an animal but a piece of meat like a roast. I kwill find out though. Gloria
Guest guest
Debbie, My mother in law had the 14-3-3 Assay done by Dr. Gibbs. He told us that the 14-3-3 test was not absolute, but would help point to the diagnosis if the clinical diagnosis fit. My mother in laws assay was negative for the markers, but he says that they don't know at what point in the disease the markers appear. He wants to do another spinal tap in 4 weeks, but it was such an ordeal (general anesthesia etc) that I doubt my father in law will allow it. We'll have wait for autopsy. Her neurologist still believes she has CJD and Dr. Gibbs agrees. Vicki
