Guest guest
One of the things I like about this program is that I don't mind having to stay around 20. I do feel like I could stay like this the rest of my life. Just don't ask me to give up more *LOL* That is why I am stubborn about not wanting to follow the yeast thing. I just am not willing to give up my vinegar. I have cut back on anything with aspartame and I think I have noticed that when I have it I get more emotional but that could be totally in my mind. I am limiting it to the diet soda for the Atkins shake and occasionally when I go out. I feel comfortably with that. I thought I would want to get back into fruit but I am finding I really don't miss it now. I am very satisfied with meat and salad for supper. Just please don't take away my salad! with balsamic vinegar *LOL* I have to admit I have gotten spoiled. I just enjoy my morning decaf with heavy whipping cream sooooo much (never drank my coffee sweetened) I can't imagine going back to using skim milk. I also enjoy being able to have bacon again. Hadn't had that in quite some time. I did have a week or two where I had a high grocery bill but now that I know what I need to stock up on I am finding that it is even cheaper than pre-Atkins. I am more particular to watch for my meats being on sale though beings as that is mostly what I buy. Also I find the food prep is actually easier now that I don't worry about vegs. so all in all I really do like this way of life. NOW if I just continue to lose and have my blood sugars continue to go down it will be perfect for me! I've been drinking mine black since I started because I forgot to buy cream. I've always used dry creamer.
