Guest guest
Jacque- I have made up my own info packs for my kids teachers. I have an 8 x10 glossy of do's and don'ts for AJ. As it changes, so does the background color, so i can glance and see the proper one is displayed. The nurse also has a copy of this. When AJ was part of a summer camp, we just told the caregivers that she had severe food allergies and her symptoms. No, they might be typical reactions, but every person is different. I stress what foods NOT to give her and that she can only eat what is in her lunch box. We always pack extra Neocates since that is all she has right now. Everyone has been wonderful. Hope this helps. Phyllis
Guest guest
Hi Jacque, I am glad the allergy symptoms page was of help to you. I thought it was interesting that allergic reaction can cause such a wide range of symptoms..... Who would have thought that a fever could be a sign of allergy??? Sure wish I had know this years ago when my kids were younger..... A few months ago there was discussion here about a plan that you can file with the schools I think for the treatment of your child. I didn't pay too much attention because my youngest is in College. Sorry..... I think it was a 504 plan. Hopefully someone can point you in the right direction..... Good Luck, Judy
