Re:update on Alyssa

Well Alyssa had the button put in today and so far so good. The results from

the metobolic came in today and I still don't know they were forwarded to a

genetic department at Childrens in Dallas and I should know something

tomorrow. I hope it is good news. I think I have asked this question before

but I will ask again do a lot of the kid on the formulas still get sick?

Alyssa is doing better with the flow rate being slow,and adding water to it,

it is 8.75oz of formula to 8oz of water, I know it is not great but she is

holding it down, the flow rate is 34 now and she is not thowing up, our GI

said that we have to get the rate up but how? I have tried but she gets sick

Hi guys this is Tina We are finally home. after 7 days in the hospital they

still didn't have any anwers on how the EOS started back up, they suppect

that it was the formula so they put on a infant formula. it was either that

or TPN. and they changed her meds. She is back pn prednisone, I hate that but

it does seem to help, One thing that has made me nervous is her weight loss

they were not too concerned. so I don't have any idea what size of clothes

she will wear, again, thanks for letting me vent last week I really needed

it and it made me feel better. Tina

I'm glad you're home, but sorry you didn't get any answers. I know it must

be very frustrating. I'll pray that the new formula works out.
