Guest guest
Sharon, I am sorry for your bad news today and hope there are others out there who can help you through this. I know it helps to hear other experiences to give you some idea what to expect. I may be reading your letter wrong, but it sounds to me like finding this problem may answer many others. If he is able to breathe and swallow and will be able to eat normally that will make finding this a blessing and his daily life so much more pleasant. You are the one who is suffering now. And you probably need to have that cry. I can't blame you, it is not an easy thing to learn about any new problems your child is facing. Even though this is not what you were expecting, hopefully it is providing some answers. Did they give you any stats on the procedure? Is the prognosis good? I will keep you in my thoughts.
