Guest guest
Sheri -- Take the box of Vivonex to the GI's office. Show him the label. it is NOT Kosher. Ask him to call Novartis and ask if the formula is intended for allergic (i.e. EG) disease. They will say NO, of course. Neocate is much more expensive, but Elecare is US made alternative and is supposed to be exactly the same. No, this is not normal behavior for a 4-1/2 y/o who is tube fed. I have tube fed five kids. Be glad to give your doc a piece or two of my mind. Steph. [eosinophilic gastroenteritis] feedings > > >Hello, > >I'm new to this list, so please bear with me. Guest guest
YES. It is considered the US made duplicate of Neocate. Guest guest
We have another tainted case of Neocate. That is what we figure because AJ is just miserable and in pain and not eating anything, but Neocate. This happened before. This time we have an open case at school, one upstairs at home and one in the kitchen. Which case is bad?? I know it is the dairy protein from another run in it. The allergist and GI don't believe she can be that sensitive. She has broken out in rashes from touching milk. I am afraid to push it until she tastes the Elecare, because I have a feeling she won't like it. It is a powder, right? She won't touch the powdered Neocate. She likes her " juice boxes " . Ross won't send me a sample. I won't do anything until she can sample the Elecare and see if there is a chance she will drink it. Sharon, have a wonderful time at Disney.
