The people know all about AJ's condition and that popped rice is one of her only foods. Even though they have others waiting for it too, they put her at the top of the priority list. I'll be calling him soon about the Kod-man. Also, did you get Clayton on all those foods at KKI? That is one thing I am really torturing myself over, whether or not to take Kody there. They just don't know what is causing his problems and think it is more pseudo-obstruction at this point, but I just wonder if they could help us find a food or anything that he could tolerate... I may be pulling at straws at this point. If we don't find something soon, this TPN will shorten his time with us. The longer you go without taking anything through your GI tract, the harder it gets to re-start it. Just wondering really what you thought of the place, as it would definitely be MY pushing to get him there; the docs are not as excited about anything like that working in his case. We have to feed him for 25 minutes - bite by bite. If he is given the choice to eat he won't. We have to watch him like a hawk. I give him snacks during the day and when I turn around he throws them away. I can't understand not having hunger pains. BTW, he is scheduled for an endoscopy and colonscopy on Wednesday.
